Western Specialty Structures has sold and installed fabric buildings throughout the United States and across a broad spectrum of industries.

Traveling the State of Idaho, where we are headquartered, provides residents the opportunity to see our high-quality, cost-effective buildings in a wide variety of applications. The Idaho Department of Fish and Game utilizes their steel-truss, fabric tension building for equipment and vehicle storage at their Garden Valley location; the Idaho Transportation Department operates sand and salt sheds throughout the state built by Western Specialty Structures; a local large animal veterinarian has been able to evaluate horses under saddle even in inclement weather since the installation of his building back in 2005; and, a southeastern Idaho commodity trader was even able to have his building relocated when required with very little down time in his business. Our youngest set enjoys Western Specialty Structures buildings while hitting baseballs in the Eagle or Boise High Hitting Facilities or practicing in an indoor/outdoor practice facility at Shadow Valley Golf Course in Boise.

Regional installations include a variety of Department of Energy sites throughout the Western United States; a water treatment and composting facility as well as a vandalism protected indoor/outdoor recreational sports facility in the Southern California area; and, an insulated equipment maintenance and storage facility on a mine site in Colorado. Testimonal from Shatto Milk Company

Almost one year ago you may recall hearing about the fact that one of our older barns collapsed due to snow and high winds, well, today we are happy to let you know we have replaced it. Yep, we replaced that decade’s old facility with a new more modern, tarp top barn that will serve as a place for the cows to come in and escape the elements as well as a place where they can eat and drink. As you can tell by the picture below, the new barn has a lot of saw dust for its base, this helps the cows have a nice soft space to enjoy while it will also absorb any water or material making it easy for us to scrape up and haul off or sell for fertilizer. We are very excited about this new facility as it is not only wonderful for our cows, but for our employees as well. It provides a very nice place for our cows to reside in during the bitter cold winter months. When you come visit us on the farm from now on, you will be able to know what building this is as it is the biggest and whitest tarped building just to the north of the silos.
